The EpiShot™ Antigen Prediction Screen analyzes critical parameters including: surface exposure and topology, solubility, optimal peptide length, post-translational modifications, sequence homology, structural information and species cross-reactivity. Visual summarization of the biophysical information is provided to you with recommendations of the best peptide candidates for antibody production. This 14-week protocol produces 100-150 mg of Protein A-purified antibody.
14-week protocol includes the following:
- Peptide design consultation with one of our best-in-class peptide chemists, using EpiShot™ Antigen Prediction Screen
- Peptide synthesis w/optional HPLC purification and LCMS
- Peptide-KLH conjugation
- Immunization of two specific pathogen free (SPF) New Zealand rabbits
- Bleed titration to ensure high immune response
- Protein A purification
- Options available: peptide purification; additional rabbits; protocol extension; antibody purification using peptide affinity column, Western blot, immunohistochemistry and immunoprecipitation testing
