|Target/Specificity||Mouse anti-FOXP1 antibody, clone JC12 recognizes human FOXP1, an 85kD member of the winged helix/forkhead transcription factor family. The FOXP1 transcription factor is widely expressed in human tissues and is predominantly localised to the nucleus. However, the level of expression does vary between cells and between different tissues. The expression of FOXP1 is reported to be abnormal in a range of solid tumours. Studies suggest that FOXP1 functions as a transcriptional repressor.The antibody produced by clone JC12 does not recognize closely related molecules FOXP2, FOXP3 or FOXP4.|
