It does not bind to human collagen types I,II,III and IV.Mouse anti-Human collagen V antibody, clone NLI/64, stains all basement membranes (BMs). Overall pattern varies with exact protocol used. Useful for discriminating between malignant and benign neoplasms, the former showing apparent discontinuity of BM.
