|Target/Specificity||ABD10925 recognises ribosomal S6 Kinase 2 (GenBank: EDL96130.1), an 83kDa member of the S6 kinase subfamily of Ser/Thr protein kinases. The kinase is downstream of the extracellular signal-related kinase (ERK)/MAPK cascade and mediates growth-factor and stress induced activation of the transcription factor cAMP response element-binding protein. Ribosomal S6 Kinase 2 has been shown to inhibit G protein-coupled receptors and it’s loss leads to Coffin-Lowry syndrome and nonsyndromic X-linked mental retardation. It is widely expressed, primarily in lung and skeletal muscle.|
