Target/Specificity Rabbit anti-Human Follistatin antibody recognizes human follistatin (FST), a single-chain glycosylated secreted protein of gonadal origin, originally identified as an antagonist of activin and suppressor of follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) synthesis/secretion.As well as activin, FST interacts with and inhibits other members of the transforming growth factor beta (TGF-beta) superfamily, such as bone morphogenetic proteins (BMPs) -2, -4 and -7, myostatin and growth differentiation factor 9 (GDF-9), making FST a key regulator in development and regeneration processes.
Preservative & Stabilisers Preservative Free
Storage Prior to reconstitution store at +4℃. Following reconstitution store at -20℃.
