|Other Names||Protein NOV homolog, NovH, CCN family member 3, Insulin-like growth factor-binding protein 9, IBP-9, IGF-binding protein 9, IGFBP-9, Nephroblastoma-overexpressed gene protein homolog, NOV, CCN3, IGFBP9, NOVH|
|Target/Specificity||Rabbit anti-Human IGFBP-9 antibody recognizes human IGFBP-9 (insulin-like growth factor binding protein- 9), also known as NOV/CCN3, a 326 amino acid cysteine-rich secreted regulatory protein and member of the CCN family, containing the domains IGFBP, VWFC, C-Terminal cysteine knot-like and thrombospondin type I repeat.IGFBP-9 is an inducer of cell migration and adhesion and shows increased expression in Wilm’s tumours and nephroblastomas. In contrast, decreased expression of IGFBP-9 correlates with an increase in tumourgenicity in certain cancers including childhood adrenocortical tumours (ACT).|
