DAXX binds specifically to the death domain of Fas and enhances Fas induced apoptosis and activates the Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK) pathway. DAXX is widely expressed in both foetal and adult tissues. This antibody recognises a 120kD major band of DAXX protein in Western blotting of HeLa cell lysates.|
