Additional Information
Purification Antisera to human MTBP were raised by repeated immunisation of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography.
Immunogen Synthetic peptide corresponding to amino acids 122-139 of human MTBP
Shelf Life 18 months from date of despatch.
Gene ID 27085
Other Names Mdm2-binding protein, hMTBP, MTBP
Target/Specificity Rabbit anti-MTBP antibody recognizes human MDM2-binding protein (MTBP). MDM2 is an important negative regulator of p53, which is over expressed in a range of human cancers. MTBP is expressed in a variety of normal tissues and is reported to bind to MDM2, inhibiting it's effect on p53 (Bradyet al.2005).
Preservative & Stabilisers 0.02% Sodium Azide
Storage Store at +4℃ or at -20 ℃.
PrecautionsAnti-Human MTBP (aa122-139) Antibody is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
