|Target/Specificity||Goat anti-Human GADD34 antibody recognizes the protein GADD34 (growth arrest and DNA-damage-inducible 34), also known as PPP1R15A. GADD34 is a member of a group of genes whose transcript levels are increased in response to treatment with DNA damaging agents or conditions of stress (Amundsonet al.1998). Induction of GADD34 by ionising radiation has been reported in some cell lines, regardless of p53 status (Hollanderet al.1997). Reports suggest that GADD34 may be involved in a signal transduction pathway controlling cell cycle arrest and/or apoptosis following DNA damage (Hollanderet al.2003).Goat anti-human GADD34 antibody has been used successfully for following GADD34 protein turnover in multiple cell lines and primary cells by Western blotting (Zhouet al.2013)|
