This antibody does not cross react with other MMP family members.MMP-9 is expressed by a range of cell types, including trophoblasts, fibroblasts, dendritic cells and some epithelial cells.In quiescent cells, MMP-9 may be expressed at low levels. It has reported that some tumour cell lines constitutively produce MMP-9.|
