SARS Envelope protein is an integral membrane protein present at low stoichiometric quantities in the virion. The protein has a small N-terminal hydrophilic domain on the exterior, a single transmembrane domain, and an interior C-terminal domain. The Envelope protein interacts with SARS Membrane protein, and plays a role in viral assembly and budding.|
