Anti-MEK 1/2 (pSer218/222) Antibody

Rabbit Anti-Human Polyclonal Antibody

  • WB - Anti-MEK 1/2 (pSer218/222) Antibody ABD11476
Western blot of NIH 3T3 cell lysates. The cells were serum starved (control) or incubated in the presence of serum (serum) for 5 minutes. The western blot shows the immunolabeling of the ~45 kDa MEK1/2 was absent in control and stimulated by serum

Purification Antisera to phosphorylated MEK were raised by repeated immunisations of rabbits with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG prepared by affinity chromatography.
Immunogen Synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to an amino acid sequence which includes phosphorylated residues ser 218 and 222 within human MEK1 and 2.
Shelf Life 12 months from date of reconstitution.
Gene ID 5605
Other Names Dual specificity mitogen-activated protein kinase kinase 2, MAP kinase kinase 2, MAPKK 2,, ERK activator kinase 2, MAPK/ERK kinase 2, MEK 2, MAP2K2, MEK2, MKK2, PRKMK2
Target/Specificity Rabbit anti-phosphorylated MEK 1/2 antibody recognizes MEK 1 and MEK 2, (also known as MAP2K1 and MAP2K2 respectively), when phosphorylated at serine 218 and 222.MEK1 and 2 are related dual specificity protein kinases from the MAP kinase family. These proteins are activated by phosphoryation at serine 218 and 222, and play a critical role in mitogen growth factor signal transduction.
Preservative & Stabilisers 0.09% Sodium Azide; 0.01% Bovine Serum Albumin; 50% Glycerol
Storage Store at +4℃ or at -20 ℃.
PrecautionsAnti-MEK 1/2 (pSer218/222) Antibody is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
