|Calculated MW||69065 Da|
|Purification||Antisera to human Dopamine Beta-Hydroxylase (CT) were raised by repeated immunisations of sheep with highly purified antigen. Purified IgG was prepared from whole serum by affinity chromatography.|
|Immunogen||Synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal region of human Dopamine Beta-Hydroxylase, conjugated to KLH.|
|Shelf Life||12 months from date of reconstitution.|
|Other Names||Dopamine beta-hydroxylase, 188.8.131.52, Dopamine beta-monooxygenase, Soluble dopamine beta-hydroxylase, DBH|
|Target/Specificity||Sheep anti-Human Dopamine beta hydroxylase recognizes an epitope within the C-terminal region (CT) of Dopamine Beta-Hydroxylase (DBH). DBH is a member of the copper type II, ascorbate-dependent monooxygenase family, which catalyzes the conversion of dopamine to norepinephrine, a key neurotransmitter in the central and peripheral nervous systems.The effects of DBH plasma levels have been a focus area for both neurological and psychiatric disorders, including Parkinson’s disease, hypertension, depression, schizophrenia, drug abuse and stress (Cubells and Zabetian 2004).|
|Preservative & Stabilisers||0.09% Sodium Azide; 0.01% Bovine Serum Albumin; 50% Glycerol|
|Storage||Store at +4℃ or at -20 ℃.|
|Precautions||Anti-Human Dopamine beta Hydroxylase (C-Terminal) Antibody is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.|
