Target/Specificity Mouse anti-Human Cathepsin B antibody, clone CB131 recognizes human cathepsing B, also known as APP secretase. Cathepsin B is a 399 amino acid lysosomal protease expressed in a wide range of tissues, including liver, skeletal muscle and heart. Cathepsin B is also expressed in human tumor tissues (Moinet al.1992).Cathepsin B plays a role in protein degradation and has also been shown to activate urokinase type plasminogen activator (Koboyashiet al.1991).Mouse anti-human cathepsin B antibody, clone CDB131 has been sussefully used to demonstrate the expression and localization of cathepsin B in human glioma tissue by immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence techniques (Hayashiet al.2007).
Preservative & Stabilisers 0.09% Sodium Azide
Storage Storage at 4℃ or at -20℃.
PrecautionsAnti-Human Cathepsin B Antibody, clone CB131 is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
