|Target/Specificity||Mouse anti-Human CD50 antibody, clone MEM-171 recognizes the human CD50 cell surface glycoprotein, a 110kD molecule also known as ICAM-3.CD50 is a type I transmembrane glycoprotein, containing five immunoglobulin-like C2-type domains, and is a ligand for LFA-1.CD50 is expressed by a wide range of leucocytes. It plays a role in leucocyte adhesion and also acts as a signaling and costimulatory molecule on T lymphocytes.Clone MEM-171 recognizes an epitope in the D2 domain of human CD50 and is reported to partially inhibit CD43 induced apoptosis of TF-1 cells (Cermak, L. et al.2001).|
