|Target/Specificity||Goat anti Human Ferritin antibody recognizes human ferritin, a large globular protein found in the liver, intestines and spleen that functions as an iron storage complex. It consists of a mineral core of ferric oxide and a 24 subunit protein shell that assures solubility in an aqueous environment.Goat anti Human Ferritin antibody recognises liver and spleen ferritin, but shows minimal reactivity with heart ferritin indicating a preference for the more basic isoforms of ferritin (Jones & Woremood 1978).|
