|Calculated MW||29895 Da|
|Application & Usage||Western blotting (0.5-4 µg/ml). However, the optimal concentrations should be determined individually. The antibody recognizes the 50 kDa full length as well as the 30 kDa and 20 kDa subunits of OX40 in Western blot analysis. Reacts with rat. Other species have not been determined.|
|Other Names||OX 40 , OX-40, OX40 antigen, TNFRSF4, TNR4, OX40L Receptor, tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily member 4|
|Formulation||100 µg (0.5 mg/ml) affinity purified rabbit polyclonal antibody in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) containing 30% glycerol, 0.5% BSA, and 0.01% thimerosal.|
|Handling||The antibody solution should be gently mixed before use.|
|Reconstitution & Storage||-20 °C|
|Precautions||OX40 Antibody is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.|
|Function||Receptor for TNFSF4/OX40L/GP34. Is a costimulatory molecule implicated in long-term T-cell immunity (By similarity).|
|Cellular Location||Membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein|
|Tissue Location||Activated T-cells.|

OX40 is also known as CD134 is a member of the tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily (TNFR). OX40 plays an important role in CD4+ and CD8+T-cells and B-cells response. Binding of OX40 to its ligand, OX40L provides co-stimulatory signal to effector T-cells without CD28 activation.
