Tissue Location Highly enriched in brain with restricted expression in neuronal subsets primarily in the cortex, striatum, and hippocampus as well as certain nuclei within the thalamus, hypothalamus and olfactory bulb. Accumulates postsynaptically in dendritic spines of neostriatal neurons.
