|Format||Liquid. Purified antibody supplied in 1x PBS buffer with 0.09% (w/v) sodium azide and 2% sucrose.|
|Reconstitution & Storage||Add 50 ul of distilled water. Final anti-Ifi204 antibody concentration is 1 mg/ml in PBS buffer with 2% sucrose. For longer periods of storage, store at 20°C. Avoid repeat freeze-thaw cycles.|
|Precautions||Ifi204 antibody - middle region is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.|
|Function||Inhibits the transcription of ribosomal RNA. May inhibit DNA binding by UBTF. Inhibits cell growth via p53/TP53 and RB1- dependent and independent pathways. Acts as a coactivator of RUNX2 during osteogenesis. May be involved in macrophage differentiation. Enables skeletal muscle and cardiac myocyte differentiation by sequestring Id proteins in the cytosol and promoting their ubiquitination and subsequent degradation.|
|Cellular Location||Nucleus. Nucleus, nucleolus. Cytoplasm. Note=Nuclear in proliferating cells, translocates to cytosol during cell differentiation|
|Tissue Location||Present in osteoblasts (at protein level).|
