|Application ||WB, E|
|Clone Names||6G9C6; 6G9B9|
|Description||Epitope tagging offers an easy and universal strategy for the identification and purification of proteins derived by recombinant DNA technology. Expression vectors with Glutathione S-transferase (GST) tag have beed developed widely for both prokaryotic and eukaryotic systems, because GST can provides both an easily detectable Tag and a simple purification process with little effect on the biological function of the protein encoded by inserted cDNA sequences. Antibodies of anti-GST tag are useful for checking protein expression using immunoblotting, immunoprecipitation and immunostaining techniques, as well as for immunoaffinity purification of protein expressed in vitro.|
|Immunogen||Purified fusion protein with GST protein tag expressed in E. Coli.|
|Formulation||Purified antibody in PBS containing 0.03% sodium azide.|
|Dilution||WB~~1/500 - 1/2000|
|Storage||Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.|
|Precautions||GST Antibody is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.|
