|Application ||WB, FC, E|
|Description||VAV2 is the second member of the VAV guanine nucleotide exchange factor family of oncogenes. Unlike VAV1, which is expressed exclusively in hematopoietic cells, VAV2 transcripts were found in most tissues. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.|
|Immunogen||Purified recombinant fragment of human VAV2 (AA: 552-868) expressed in E. Coli.|
|Formulation||Purified antibody in PBS with 0.05% sodium azide|
|Other Names||Guanine nucleotide exchange factor VAV2, VAV-2, VAV2|
WB~~1/500 - 1/2000
FC~~1/200 - 1/400
|Storage||Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.|
|Precautions||VAV2 Antibody is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.|
|Function||Guanine nucleotide exchange factor for the Rho family of Ras-related GTPases. Plays an important role in angiogenesis. Its recruitment by phosphorylated EPHA2 is critical for EFNA1-induced RAC1 GTPase activation and vascular endothelial cell migration and assembly (By similarity).|
|Tissue Location||Widely expressed.|
