  • FC - BACH2 Antibody (C-term) AP10133b
Overlay histogram showing Ramos cells stained with AP10133b(green line). The cells were fixed with 2% paraformaldehyde (10 min) and then permeabilized with 90% methanol for 10 min. The cells were then icubated in 2% bovine serum albumin to block non-specific protein-protein interactions followed by the antibody (AP10133b, 1:25 dilution) for 60 min at 37ºC. The secondary antibody used was Goat-Anti-Rabbit IgG, DyLight® 488 Conjugated Highly Cross-Adsorbed(OH191631) at 1/200 dilution for 40 min at 37ºC. Isotype control antibody (blue line) was rabbit IgG1 (1μg/1x10^6 cells) used under the same conditions. Acquisition of >10, 000 events was performed.

PrecautionsBACH2 Antibody (C-term) is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
Protein Information
Name BACH2
Function Transcriptional regulator that acts as a repressor or activator (By similarity). Binds to Maf recognition elements (MARE) (By similarity). Plays an important role in coordinating transcription activation and repression by MAFK (By similarity). Induces apoptosis in response to oxidative stress through repression of the antiapoptotic factor HMOX1 (PubMed:17018862). Positively regulates the nuclear import of actin (By similarity). Is a key regulator of adaptive immunity, crucial for the maintenance of regulatory T-cell function and B-cell maturation (PubMed:28530713).
Cellular Location Cytoplasm. Nucleus {ECO:0000255|PROSITE- ProRule:PRU00978, ECO:0000269|PubMed:17018862, ECO:0000269|PubMed:28530713}. Note=Nucleocytoplasmic shuttling is controlled by phosphorylation.
Tissue Location B-cell specific.
