|Application ||WB, IHC-P, FC, E|
|Calculated MW||53480 Da|
|Antigen Region||90-118 aa|
|Other Names||Schwannomin-interacting protein 1, SCHIP-1, SCHIP1|
|Target/Specificity||This SCHIP1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 90-118 amino acids from the Central region of human SCHIP1.|
|Format||Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.|
|Storage||Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.|
|Precautions||SCHIP1 Antibody (Center) is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.|
|Cellular Location||Cytoplasm. Note=Partially colocalizes with NF2 beneath the cytoplasmic membrane|
|Tissue Location||Isoform 5 and isoform 6 are highly expressed in the brain. Both isoforms derive from naturally occurring readthrough transcripts which produce IQCJ-SCHIP1 fusion proteins|

Provided below are standard protocols that you may find useful for product applications.
SCHIP1 is a novel coiled-coil protein that specifically associates with schwannomin in vitro and in vivo. Within its coiled-coil region, this protein is homologous to human FEZ proteins and the related Caenorhabditis elegans gene product UNC-76.
