|Application ||WB, E|
|Calculated MW||34093 Da|
|Antigen Region||14-42 aa|
|Other Names||Homeobox protein Hox-D1, Homeobox protein Hox-GG, HOXD1, HOX4, HOX4G|
|Target/Specificity||This HOXD1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 14-42 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human HOXD1.|
|Format||Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.|
|Storage||Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.|
|Precautions||HOXD1 Antibody (N-term) is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.|
|Function||Sequence-specific transcription factor which is part of a developmental regulatory system that provides cells with specific positional identities on the anterior-posterior axis. Acts on the anterior body structures.|

HOXD1 is a member of the Antp homeobox family and encodes a protein with a homeobox DNA-binding domain. This nuclear protein functions as a sequence-specific transcription factor that is involved in differentiation and limb development. Mutations in this gene have been associated with severe developmental defects on the anterior-posterior (a-p) limb axis.
