---|---|
Other Names | Phytanoyl-CoA dioxygenase domain-containing protein 1, 1---, PHYHD1 |
Target/Specificity | This PHYHD1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 232-260 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human PHYHD1. |
Dilution | WB~~1:1000 |
Format | Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification. |
Storage | Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles. |
Precautions | PHYHD1 Antibody (C-term) is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. |
Name | PHYHD1 (HGNC:23396) |
---|---|
Function | 2-oxoglutarate(2OG)-dependent dioxygenase that catalyzes the conversion of 2-oxoglutarate to succinate and CO(2) in an iron- dependent manner (PubMed:21530488). However, does not couple 2OG turnover to the hydroxylation of acyl-coenzyme A derivatives, implying that it is not directly involved in phytanoyl coenzyme-A metabolism (PubMed:21530488). Does not show detectable activity towards fatty acid CoA thioesters (PubMed:21530488). |
