|Predicted||Chicken, Mouse, Rat|
|Calculated MW||18155 Da|
|Antigen Region||118-146 aa|
|Other Names||Peptidyl-prolyl cis-trans isomerase-like 3, PPIase, Cyclophilin J, CyPJ, Cyclophilin-like protein PPIL3, Rotamase PPIL3, PPIL3|
|Target/Specificity||This PPIL3 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 118-146 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human PPIL3.|
|Format||Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.|
|Storage||Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.|
|Precautions||PPIL3 Antibody (C-term) is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.|
|Function||PPIases accelerate the folding of proteins. It catalyzes the cis-trans isomerization of proline imidic peptide bonds in oligopeptides. May be involved in pre-mRNA splicing.|
|Tissue Location||Ubiquitous. Detected at low levels.|

This gene encodes a member of the cyclophilin family. Cyclophilins catalyze the cis-trans isomerization of peptidylprolyl imide bonds in oligopeptides. They have been proposed to act either as catalysts or as molecular chaperones in protein-folding events. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.
