|Target/Specificity||This TMED1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 77-104 amino acids from the Central region of human TMED1.|
|Format||Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.|
|Storage||Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.|
|Precautions||TMED1 Antibody (Center) is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.|
|Function||Potential role in vesicular protein trafficking, mainly in the early secretory pathway. May act as a cargo receptor at the lumenal side for incorporation of secretory cargo molecules into transport vesicles and may be involved in vesicle coat formation at the cytoplasmic side.|

The protein encoded by this gene was identified by its interaction with interleukin 1 receptor-like 1 (IL1RL1). This protein lacks any similarity to other interleukin 1 ligands. The functional significance of its interaction with IL1RL1 is not known.
