|Application ||WB, E|
|Calculated MW||27451 Da|
|Antigen Region||133-160 aa|
|Other Names||N-alpha-acetyltransferase 60, Histone acetyltransferase type B protein 4, HAT4, N-acetyltransferase 15, NatF catalytic subunit, NAA60, HAT4, NAT15|
|Target/Specificity||This NAT15 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 133-160 amino acids from the Central region of human NAT15.|
|Format||Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.|
|Storage||Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.|
|Precautions||NAT15 Antibody (Center) is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.|
|Function||Histone acetyltransferase localized in the Golgi apparatus that mediates acetylation of free histone H4, thereby facilitating nucleosome assembly. Has a preference for free histone H4 'Lys-20'(H4K20ac), 'Lys-79'(H4K79ac) and 'Lys-91' (H4K91ac). Also displays alpha (N-terminal) acetyltransferase activity towards a range of N-terminal sequences including those starting with Met-Lys, Met-Val, Met-Ala and Met-Met. Required for normal chromosomal segregation during anaphase.|
|Cellular Location||Golgi apparatus membrane|
