|Other Accession||Q6MG81, O35450|
|Calculated MW||38176 Da|
|Antigen Region||264-292 aa|
|Other Names||FK506-binding protein-like, WAF-1/CIP1 stabilizing protein 39, WISp39, FKBPL, DIR1, NG7|
|Target/Specificity||This FKBPL antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 264-292 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human FKBPL.|
|Format||Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.|
|Storage||Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.|
|Precautions||FKBPL Antibody (C-term) is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.|
|Function||May be involved in response to X-ray. Regulates p21 protein stability by binding to Hsp90 and p21.|
|Tissue Location||Ubiquitously expressed with higher levels in testis.|

Provided below are standard protocols that you may find useful for product applications.
FKBPL has similarity to the immunophilin protein family, which play a role in immunoregulation and basic cellular processes involving protein folding and trafficking. The encoded protein is thought to have a potential role in the induced radioresistance. Also it appears to have some involvement in the control of the cell cycle.
