|Application ||WB, E|
|Other Accession||O54929, Q0V8J1|
|Calculated MW||45286 Da|
|Antigen Region||375-404 aa|
|Other Names||WD repeat and SOCS box-containing protein 2, WSB-2, CS box-containing WD protein, WSB2|
|Target/Specificity||This WSB2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 375-404 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human WSB2.|
|Format||Purified polyclonal antibody supplied in PBS with 0.09% (W/V) sodium azide. This antibody is purified through a protein A column, followed by peptide affinity purification.|
|Precautions||WSB2 Antibody (C-term) is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.|
|Function||May be a substrate-recognition component of a SCF-like ECS (Elongin-Cullin-SOCS-box protein) E3 ubiquitin ligase complex which mediates the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins.|

Provided below are standard protocols that you may find useful for product applications.
WSB2 is a member of the WD-protein subfamily. This protein contains five WD-repeats spanning most of the protein and an SOCS box in the C-terminus. The SOCS box may act as a bridge between specific substrate-binding domains and E3 ubiquitin protein ligases.
