Asparagine-tRNA ligase (EC 184.108.40.206) catalyzes the chemical reaction: ATP + L-asparagine + tRNAAsn <---> AMP + diphosphate + L-asparaginyl-tRNAAsn. This enzyme participates in alanine and aspartate metabolism and aminoacyl-tRNA biosynthesis.
