Has no wax synthase activity to produce wax esters (PubMed:15671038). Able to use 1-monoalkylglycerol (1-MAkG) as an acyl acceptor for the synthesis of monoalkyl-monoacylglycerol (MAMAG) (PubMed:28420705). |
