Background

LCOR is a transcriptional corepressor widely expressed infetal and adult tissues that is recruited to agonist-bound nuclearreceptors through a single LxxLL motif, also referred to as anuclear receptor (NR) box (Fernandes et al., 2003 [PubMed12535528]).
