|Other Names||DnaJ homolog subfamily B member 7, DNAJB7, HSC3|
|Target/Specificity||The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP13665b was selected from the C-term region of DNAJB7. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.|
|Format||Synthetic peptide was lyophilized with 100% acetonitrile and is supplied as a powder. Reconstitute with 0.1 ml DI water for a final concentration of 1 mg/ml.|
|Storage||Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20°C.|
|Precautions||This product is for research use only. Not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.|
|Function||Probably acts as a co-chaperone. COMPBIAS 291 298 Poly-Lys. VARIANT 41 41 E -> A (in dbSNP:rs2269619). /FTId=VAR_017779. DNAJB7 belongs to the evolutionarily conserved DNAJ/HSP40family of proteins, which regulate molecular chaperone activity bystimulating ATPase activity. DNAJ proteins may have up to 3distinct domains: a conserved 70-amino acid J domain, usually atthe N terminus; a glycine/phenylalanine (G/F)-rich region; and acysteine-rich domain containing 4 motifs resembling a zinc fingerdomain (Ohtsuka and Hata, 2000 [PubMed 11147971]).[supplied byOMIM].
