Background
This gene encodes a member of the Kruppel family ofC2H2-type zinc-finger transcription factor proteins. The encodedprotein acts as a transcriptional activator. Two transcriptvariants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for thisgene. Other transcript variants have been described, but their fulllength sequence has not been determined.
