Background
There are several documented fusion oncoproteins encodedpartially by this gene. This gene also participates in severaloncogenic rearrangements resulting in anaplastic lymphoma andmixoid chondrosarcoma, and may play a role in the NF-kappaBpathway. Multiple transcript variants have been found for thisgene.
