|Other Names||Annexin A3, 35-alpha calcimedin, Annexin III, Annexin-3, Inositol 1, 2-cyclic phosphate 2-phosphohydrolase, Lipocortin III, Placental anticoagulant protein III, PAP-III, ANXA3, ANX3|
|Target/Specificity||The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP2829a was selected from the N-term region of human ANXA3. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.|
|Storage||Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20°C.|
|Precautions||This product is for research use only. Not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.|
|Function||Inhibitor of phospholipase A2, also possesses anti- coagulant properties. Also cleaves the cyclic bond of inositol 1,2-cyclic phosphate to form inositol 1-phosphate.|

Provided below are standard protocols that you may find useful for product applications.
ANXA3 is a member of the annexin family. Members of this calcium-dependent phospholipid-binding protein family play a role in the regulation of cellular growth and in signal transduction pathways. This protein functions in the inhibition of phopholipase A2 and cleavage of inositol 1,2-cyclic phosphate to form inositol 1-phosphate. This protein may also play a role in anti-coagulation.
