|Other Names||GATS-like protein 3, GATSL3|
|Storage||Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20°C.|
|Precautions||This product is for research use only. Not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.|
|Function||Functions as an intracellular arginine sensor within the amino acid-sensing branch of the TORC1 signaling pathway. As a homodimer or a heterodimer with GATSL2, binds and inhibits the GATOR subcomplex GATOR2 and thereby mTORC1. Binding of arginine to GATSL3 allosterically disrupts the interaction of GATSL3- containing dimers with GATOR2 which can in turn activate mTORC1 and the TORC1 signaling pathway.|
|Cellular Location||Cytoplasm, cytosol|
|Tissue Location||Widely expressed.|
