|Target/Specificity||The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP8797a was selected from the N-term region of human IL18RAP. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.|

IL18RAP is required for the high affinity binding of interleukin 18 (IL-18) to its receptor complex (By similarity). Together with IL18R1 mediates IL-18-dependent activation of NF-kappa-B and JNK.
