Target/Specificity The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP8855c was selected from the Center region of human KLF16. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.

KLF16 is a nuclear zinc finger transcription factor highly expressed in brain regions with abundant dopaminergic terminals, that binds GC and GT boxes and displaces Sp1 and Sp3 from these sequences. KLF16 modulates dopaminergic transmission in the brain.
