|Target/Specificity||The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP8971c was selected from the Center region of human SLC12A3. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.|

SLC12A3 is a renal thiazide-sensitive sodium-chloride cotransporter that is important for electrolyte homeostasis. This cotransporter mediates sodium and chloride reabsorption in the distal convoluted tubule.
