|Calculated MW||22745 Da|
|Application & Usage||The peptide is used for blocking the antibody activity of RAIDD. Incubating the peptide with equal volume of antibody for 30-60 minutes at 37°C usually completely blocks the antibody activity in Western blotting.|
|Other Names||Death domain-containing protein CRADD, Caspase and RIP adapter with death domain, RIP-associated protein with a death domain, CRADD, RAIDD|
|Formulation||50 µg (0.2 mg/ml) in phosphate buffered saline (PBS), pH 7.2, containing 50% glycerol, 1% BSA and 0.02% thimerosal.|
|Reconstitution & Storage||-20 °C|
|Precautions||RAIDD Blocking Peptide is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.|
|Function||Apoptotic adaptor molecule specific for caspase-2 and FASL/TNF receptor-interacting protein RIP. In the presence of RIP and TRADD, CRADD recruits caspase-2 to the TNFR-1 signalling complex.|
|Cellular Location||Cytoplasm. Nucleus|
|Tissue Location||Constitutively expressed in most tissues, with particularly high expression in adult heart, testis, liver, skeletal muscle, fetal liver and kidney|
