|Calculated MW||66655 Da|
|Application & Usage||The peptide is used for blocking the antibody activity of E-Selectin. It usually blocks the antibody activity completely in Western blot analysis by incubating the peptide with equal volume of antibody for 30-60 minutes at 37°C.|
|Other Names||E-selectin, CD62 antigen-like family member E, Endothelial leukocyte adhesion molecule 1, ELAM-1, Leukocyte-endothelial cell adhesion molecule 2, LECAM2, CD62E, SELE, ELAM1|
|Formulation||50 µg (0.5 mg/ml) in phosphate buffered saline (PBS), pH 7.2, containing 50% glycerol, 1% BSA and 0.02% thimerosal.|
|Reconstitution & Storage||-20 °C|
|Precautions||E-Selectin Blocking Peptide is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.|
|Function||Cell-surface glycoprotein having a role in immunoadhesion. Mediates in the adhesion of blood neutrophils in cytokine-activated endothelium through interaction with PSGL1/SELPLG. May have a role in capillary morphogenesis.|
|Cellular Location||Cell membrane; Single-pass type I membrane protein|
