|Calculated MW||144893 Da|
|Application & Usage||The peptide is used for blocking the antibody activity of NIF1. It usually blocks the antibody activity completely in Western blot analysis by incubating the peptide with equal volume of antibody for 30-60 minutes at 37°C.|
|Other Names||Zinc finger protein 335, NRC-interacting factor 1, NIF-1, ZNF335|
|Formulation||50 µg (0.5 mg/ml) in phosphate buffered saline (PBS), pH 7.2, containing 50% glycerol, 1% BSA and 0.02% thimerosal.|
|Reconstitution & Storage||-20 °C|
|Precautions||NIF1 Blocking Peptide is for research use only and not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.|
|Function||Component or associated component of some histone methyltransferase complexes may regulate transcription through recruitment of those complexes on gene promoters. Enhances ligand- dependent transcriptional activation by nuclear hormone receptors. Plays an important role in neural progenitor cell proliferation and self-renewal through the regulation of specific genes involved brain development, including REST. Also controls the expression of genes involved in somatic development and regulates, for instance, lymphoblast proliferation.|
|Tissue Location||Ubiquitously expressed.|
