Calculated MW | This protein is fused with Fc fragment of human IgG1 at the C-terminus, has a calculated MW of 51 kDa. The predicted N-terminus is Glu 21. DTT-reduced Protein migrates as 66-90 kDa due to glycosylation. |
Gene ID | 23765 |

Gene Symbol | IL17Ra |
Other Names | IL7Ra, CD127 |
Gene Source | Human |
Source | HEK293 cells |
Assay&Purity | SDS-PAGE; ≥95% |
Assay2&Purity2 | N/A; |
Recombinant | Yes |
Results | Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized rhIL7Ra Fc Chimera at 0.25 µg/ml (100 µl/well) on a Rabbit anti‑human IgG Fc antibody, the concentration of rhIL-7 that produces 50% of the optimal binding response is found to be approximately 20 - 100 ng/mL. |
Target/Specificity | IL7Ra/CD127 |
Application Notes | Centrifuge the vial prior to opening. Reconstitute in sterile PBS, pH 7.4 to a concentration of 50 µg/ml. Do not vortex. This solution can be stored at 2-8°C for up to 1 month. For extended storage, it is recommended to store at -20°C. |
Format | Lyophilized |
Storage | -20°C; Lyophilized from 0.22 µm filtered solution in PBS, pH 7.4. Normally Mannitol or Trehalose is added as protectants before lyophilization. |

Background
Interleukin-7 receptor subunit alpha (IL7Ra) also known as CD antigen CD127, which belongs to the type I cytokine receptor family and type 4 subfamily. IL7Ra /CD127 contains 1 fibronectin type-III domain. IL7Ra /CD127 is expressed on various cell types, including naive and memory T cells and many others. IL7Ra /CD127 is receptor for interleukin-7 and also acts as a receptor for thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP). The IL7 receptor is a heterodimer of IL7R and IL2RG. The TSLP receptor is a heterodimer of CRLF2 and IL7R.
