Background
FBP2 belongs to the FBPase class 1 family. The protein is a gluconeogenesis regulatory enzyme which catalyzes the hydrolysis of fructose 1, 6-bisphosphate to fructose 6-phosphate and inorganic phosphate. Recombinant human FBP2 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.Coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
