Application Data:
JARID1D (KDM5D/SMCY) Antibody (C-term)

Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human prostata carcinoma tissue reacted with SMCY antibody (C-term) (Cat.#AP1045b), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

Background:
SMCY is a protein containing zinc finger domains. A short peptide derived from this protein is a minor histocompatibility antigen which can lead to graft rejection of male donor cells in a female recipient.
