Application Data:
CAMK4 Antibody (Center H353)

(Left)Western blot analysis of anti-CAMK4 Antibody (Center H353) Pab (Cat.#AP7211c) in HepG2 cell line lysates (35ug/lane). CAMK4 (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab. (Right)Western blot analysis of CAMK4 (Center H353) (arrow) using rabbit polyclonal CAMK4 (Center H353) Antibody (Cat.#AP7211c). 293 cell lysates (2 ug/lane) either nontransfected (Lane 1) or transiently transfected with the CAMK4 (Center H353) gene (Lane 2)(Origene Technologies).

CAMK4 Antibody (Center H353)

Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human brain tissue reacted with CAMK4 (Center H353), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

Background:
CAMK4 belongs to the serine/threonine protein kinase family, and to the Ca(2+)/calmodulin-dependent protein kinase subfamily. This enzyme is a multifunctional serine/threonine protein kinase with limited tissue distribution, that has been implicated in transcriptional regulation in lymphocytes, neurons and male germ cells.
