Application Data:
NARS Antibody (C-term)

Western blot analysis of anti-NARS Pab (Cat.#AP7568b) in Jurkat cell line lysates (35ug/lane).NARS (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab (1:60 dilution).

NARS Antibody (C-term)

Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human hepatocarcinoma tissue reacted with NARS antibody (C-term) (Cat.#AP7568b), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.

Background:
Aminoacyl-tRNA synthetases are a class of enzymes that charge tRNAs with their cognate amino acids. Asparaginyl-tRNA synthetase (NARS)is localized to the cytoplasm and belongs to the class II family of tRNA synthetases. The N-terminal domain represents the signature sequence for the eukaryotic asparaginyl-tRNA synthetases.
