Synthetic peptide

Product Information
Primary Accession Q9NX95
Clone Names 91102030
Peptide ID 91102030
Additional Information
Other Names Syntabulin, Golgi-localized syntaphilin-related protein, Syntaxin-1-binding protein, SYBU, GOLSYN, KIAA1472
Target/Specificity The synthetic peptide sequence used to generate the antibody AP13098a was selected from the N-term region of GOLSYN. A 10 to 100 fold molar excess to antibody is recommended. Precise conditions should be optimized for a particular assay.
Format Synthetic peptide was lyophilized with 100% acetonitrile and is supplied as a powder. Reconstitute with 0.1 ml DI water for a final concentration of 1 mg/ml.
StorageMaintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 6 months. For long term storage store at -20°C.
PrecautionsThis product is for research use only. Not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
Protein Information
Synonyms GOLSYN, KIAA1472
Function Part of a kinesin motor-adapter complex that is critical for the anterograde axonal transport of active zone components and contributes to activity-dependent presynaptic assembly during neuronal development.
Cellular Location Isoform 1: Cytoplasm, cytoskeleton. Cytoplasmic vesicle. Note=Colocalizes with syntaxin vesicles along microtubules in neuronal processes Isoform 4: Golgi apparatus membrane; Single- pass membrane protein
Tissue Location Isoform 3, isoform 4 and isoform 5 are expressed in HeLa cell line (at protein level). Isoform 3 is expressed in fetal and adult brain. Isoform 4 is expressed in numerous fetal tissues (brain, kidney, liver, lung, and thymus) and in adult brain, kidney, liver, lung, pancreas, colon, prostate, small intestine, testis and thymus. Isoform 5 is expressed in fetal brain, brain and small intestine EMBL; AY705385; AAU93914.1; -; mRNA EMBL; AB195676; BAD72976.1; -; mRNA EMBL; AB195677; BAD72977.1; -; mRNA EMBL; AB195678; BAD72978.1; -; mRNA EMBL; AB195679; BAD72979.1; -; mRNA EMBL; AK000373; BAA91121.1; -; mRNA EMBL; AK090559; BAG52185.1; -; mRNA EMBL; AK096558; BAG53323.1; -; mRNA EMBL; AK290469; BAF83158.1; -; mRNA EMBL; AL713645; CAD28457.2; -; mRNA EMBL; AL834406; CAD39068.1; -; mRNA EMBL; CH471060; EAW91937.1; -; Genomic_DNA EMBL; BC012082; AAH12082.2; -; mRNA EMBL; AB040905; BAA95996.1; -; mRNA CCDS; CCDS43763.1; -.
